Relaxation is part of what attracts tens of thousands of visitors a year, but one of the main attractions at Lake Lawn Resort is our Championship Golf Course.
Challenge yourself on the meticulously crafted course designed by Dick Nugent, the renowned course architect behind Kemper Lakes. Nugent's handiwork there has made fans that include golf's best like Tiger Woods, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus – you'll see why when you play here.

Premiere Golf Destination
First opened in 1921, Lake Lawn's championship golf course - headed by Director of Golf Dan Drier - is one of the Midwest's premier golf destinations. Set amid 275 lush, tree-lined acres, the course was masterfully re-engineered in 1990 by renowned architect Dick Nugent of Kemper Lakes fame, and is best known for its stately oaks, deep sand bunkers and subtle undulations. Each hole is set with multiple tee boxes for players of all abilities. Lake Lawn's greens are often the topic of conversation in the 19th hole because of their undulation and many tiers.
Every one of our golf carts is equipped with the state-of-the-art ProLink GPS yardage system, which allows players to identify exact distances to the pin on the green, and how far they hit their drive from the tee. The system also indicates pin position on each green, and includes tips from our pro on how to play individual holes.
Lake Lawn's golf course, Club House and 19th Hole Snack Shop are open to guests, members and visitors daily. Our Pro Shop is stocked with equipment, accessories and apparel from leading names such as Titleist, Mizuno, Adidas, Greg Norman and more. PGA Professional Dan Drier and his staff are also available for individual or group lessons, tournament coordination and group play.
Dress code for our course is collared shirts and slacks or tailored shorts. Soft spikes only, please (available at our pro shop if needed).

Designed for the middle handicap golfer, this Tournament layout offers not many hazards, but plenty of sloping fairways and greens. This 18-hole, Par 3 course was designed for the high-handicap golfer. Surrounded by the Menomonee River and Underwood Creek, this course features wide open fairways, blue-grass tees, collars and approaches, light roughs and moderate greens. All but four holes are over 100 yards and two holes are over 200 yards. This is an excellent course to practice chipping and putting. Make your tee-time reservation today!
